Our Process

All of our pieces are constructed in the time honored 18th century American fashion using only American grown soft and hard woods.  Our Windsor Chairs and tables are hand built by craftsmen with years of experience in 200 year-old joinery techniques.  The legs of our chairs are brought through a comfortable saddled seat, then glued and wedged from the top.  The same is done with the spindles that are brought through the back and arm, then pinned.  This exposed joinery is readily apparent in our stained and cleared finished Windsors. This process, although exacting and time consuming, is essential in producing hand-made furniture that will last a lifetime.
